Ofex Plc - Branding

19.10.10

The Brief:
The OFEX market is a prescribed market under Section 118 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. It provides a secondary market for the trading of unlisted and unquoted securities in the UK, off exchange. Ofex was in need of a redesign of its website and approached Tidal. We were asked to put together an approach document; as part of our recommendation we suggested a complete redesign of the corporate identity as the existing one looked tired and didn’t reflect the profile of the organisation.

Soloution:
We have designed a logo that is modern, clean and reflects financial data (hence the ticker-tape styled box). For the channels we have come up with three distinct colour codes that is applied across the website and all marketing collateral. The concept of the channels was important in our delivery of the new website architecture and information. This has made it much easier to navigate. Additionally the box mechanism lends itself to sub brand extensions. The website has been structured to allow users to navigate easily between the channels and represents the data in a clear and dynamic way. The new identity was also rolled out across exhibitions,
shows and the OFEX Award ceremony and of course other marketing and company material.
